Now to replace this shelf frame, we need to remove the complete shelf and deli drawer from the refrigerator.

You need to pull the drawer first or take the whole thing out as an assembly. Just lift up on it, pull it out of the refrigerator and then we’ll set that on a suitable work surface where we can change out that part. With that assembly on a suitable work surface, our first step will be to remove the deli drawer and slide rails. The easiest way to do this is just to take the two screws out at the rear.

Separate those rails from that metal frame then you can pull it right off of the front. Pull that rail free of the stakes on the front, then we’ll just set that drawer and the rails aside. Next, we’ll need to remove the trim pieces and the glass.

On the back trim pieceWe’re simply going to roll that off the back, that will allow that glass to pop up out of it and then we can pull it away from the front trim. We’ll set the glass aside. With the glass out of the way, we then need to remove those trim pieces. They’re just clipped onto the metal frame.

Just rotate that around enough so we can get a good grip on it and then just pry it off. We’ll set that aside. Do the same for the rear one.
You simply need to just pop it off of that wireframe. We’ll discard the old wireframe, then we’ll begin by installing that rear trim.

Fit that website onto the wire and just snap it into place. Do the same with the front one. That’s a little tighter fit on that front one, so just work on one end.

and then just rotate that

Force it onto the wire. Center it and then just snap it on into that groove.

Now we’re ready to put the glass back in place. We’ll begin by sliding it into that front trim piece first.
We’ll center that glass so that it fits between these two little metal balls on the back.
Rotate that trim up so that we can engage the glass all the way across and then just rotate that trim forward until it captures that edge of that glass firmly. Now we’re ready to put the deli drawer back on.

We’ll flip that over. We want to line up the ends of those slide rails onto the metal tangs. Pull those forward.

With them pushed firmly on at the front, we should be able to line the rear of that track up with the metal tabs at the back, then we’ll secure it with the two screws. Now with those tightened securely, the drawer should slide freely. We’re now ready to take that assembly and put it back in the refrigerator.

We’re now ready to put that shelf and deli drawer back in the refrigerator. Set it on the appropriate shelf rail, push it back into place, close the refrigerator up and your repair is complete.
